Repairs On Antenna WiresNavigation System II
CAUTION!
Disconnect battery ground wire before working on electrical system.
On vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module service mode before disconnecting Battery (A). Refer to => [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
If the battery is reconnected, follow the procedure for disconnecting and connecting the battery. Deactivate Telephone/Telematics Control Module ( J526) service mode. Refer to => [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

The Radio Navigation System (RNS) combines the functions of a navigation system with those of a vehicle radio.
The system consists of:
• Radio receiver part
• 5-inch color display
• Navigation system with angular acceleration sensor
• CD drive for navigation system
• Navigation System Antenna (R50) connection
• Connection Left Antenna Module (R108)
Enhancements:
• CD Changer (R41) connection
• Navigation/TV Tuner (J415) connection
Additional information. Refer to navigation system plus operating instructions.
For CD preparation, the CD Changer (R41) wiring harness is already installed in the vehicle. The connecting wire can only be used with genuine Audi CD Changers (R41).
