^ MIL on.

^ DTC P0601 (ECM malfunction) is stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) data memory.

^ No drivability concern.

Technical Background
The cause is the software of the ECM.

Production Solution
Improved software for the ECM.

Service

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.








2. Update the ECM software of the affected vehicles (two ECMs for RS4, S6 and S8) using the SVM action codes listed in the table above.
