- Lay plastic film - 1 - over Velcro strips - 2 - on four-way lumbar support. Secure plastic film to four-way lumbar support.

- Ensure four-way lumbar support is attached to four-way lumbar support frame with assembly fastener - 3 - or a suitable pin.

- Before securing rivet - 4 -, a plastic washer - 1 - must be placed between four-way lumbar support - 2 - and backrest frame - 3 -.

• Removing

• When replacing positioning motor, four-way lumbar support must not be on an end stop.

- Remove backrest cover panel. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Backrest Cover.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector. Refer to => [ Disconnecting Electrical Harness Connector and Disengaging Retaining Bracket at Actuator ] Standard Front Seat, From November 2004.

- Disengage retaining bracket and remove actuator downward. Refer to => [ Disconnecting Electrical Harness Connector and Disengaging Retaining Bracket at Actuator ] Standard Front Seat, From November 2004.

• Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Actuator can only be installed in one position.
