Rear Tie Rod

General information
The three-piece tie rod (old version) is replaced by a single-piece tie rod (new version), which can be installed with a stone shield.

Mixed installation of three-piece and one-piece tie rods on the same vehicle is not permitted.

Mixed installation of a tie rod (new version) with a stone shield (old version) and vise versa is not possible.

Stone shield 8E0 501 561 (old version) is still available as a spare part for vehicles already manufactured with comfort/heavy-duty suspension.
