Cover and Upholstery, Separating from Seat Pan





1 Cover and Upholstery

• Removal:

- Remove seat. Refer to => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] Seat.

- Remove side trim on sill side. Refer to => [ Side Trim, Sill Side ] Side Trim, Sill Side.

- Remove side trim on tunnel side. Refer to => [ Side Trim, Sill Side ] Side Trim, Tunnel Side.

- Remove the backrest.

- Remove drawer. Refer to => [ Drawer ] Front Seats.

- Remove bolts - 3 - (Qty. 2).

- Remove bracket - 2 -.

- Remove clip - 4 -.

2 Retainer

3 Screws (Qty. 2)

1 Clips (Qty. 2)

2 Seat Cushion Extension

- Pry out grip channels - 3 - all around.

- Disengage grip channels - 4 - (Qty. 2) on underside of seat.

- Disconnect connector for seat heater - 5 -.

- Pull out seat cushion extension - 2 - completely.

- Remove nuts - 6 - (Qty. 4).

- Pry out seat cushion extension - 2 - at clips - 1 - (Qty. 2).

- Remove cover and upholstery.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

- for vehicles with LATCH bracket and new cover - 1 -, cover must be cut in at LATCH bracket.

6 Nuts (Qty. 4)

3 Seat Cushion Extension

- Pry out grip channels - 2 - (Qty. 5).

- Pry out clips - 1 - (Qty. 3).

- Remove seat cushion extension - 3 -.

Cover, Separating from Upholstery





1 Fastening Strips (Qty. 2)

2 Rods (Qty. 2)

- Remove fastening strips - 1 - (Qty. 2).

- Pry out rods - 2 - (Qty. 2).





1 Cover

- Pry out grip channels - 3 - from plastic clips - 2 - using a screwdriver.

- Remove cover - 1 -.

- for vehicles with LATCH bracket and new cover - 1 -, cover must be cut in at LATCH bracket. Refer to => [ LATCH Bracket Cover ] Front Seat Covers and Upholstery.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

- Replace damaged plastic clips.

- Press in first the plastic clips of transverse beam.
