A/C System Control and Regulation Components

• Service the refrigerant circuit. Refer to => [ Refrigerant Circuit, Servicing ] Refrigerant Circuit, Servicing

• Perform the following work on completion of repair operations:

- Query the DTC memory. Refer to => [ DTC Memory, Interrogating ] DTC Memory, Interrogating

- Erase the DTC memory. Refer to => [ Erasing DTC Memory, Ending Output ] Erasing DTC Memory, Ending Output

- Perform the basic setting. Refer to => [ Basic Setting ] Basic Setting

• An electrical test is provided for all components marked with 1). Refer to => [ Climatronic Control Module A/C Control Head Electrical Test Overview ] Climatronic Control Module A/C Control Head Electrical Test Overview.

• All components marked with 2) are activated in the output diagnostic test mode. Refer to => [ Final Control Diagnosis ] Final Control Diagnosis.

• The vents to the windshield (defrost) can be replaced without removing the instrument panel.

• Up to model year 2003, an adhesive label with A/C system specifications was attached in the engine compartment. In model year 2003, adhesive label was gradually discontinued, capacity for refrigerant R134a and notes on refrigerant can be found in => Heating and Air Conditioning Heating and Air Conditioning
