Information on the comfort data bus system and regarding the operating status of the comfort data bus system





• In the case of a Climatronic control module (J255 ) A/C control head with a part number up to index "G" (up to software version "XX14"), instrument cluster "0" is displayed in display field "1" for certain optional equipment even if the message is received correctly. "1" is displayed for this version only as long as certain information (e.g. the "speech recognition for telephone operation" function of the instrument cluster control module (J285)) is transmitted.

• If instrument cluster "0" is displayed in display field " 1" and two-wire operation is displayed in display group "126 " in display field "4" in a Climatronic control module (J255) A/C control head with a part number up to index "G" (up to software version "XX14"), check the display in the instrument cluster control module (J285 ). If "A/C system 1" is shown in the measured value block (currently display group "131"), the comfort data bus system is OK. Disregard the fault "instrument cluster control module, no communication/SP ". Refer to => Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "guided fault finding" function.
