Seat Heating Element, Sport Seat

Removing





- Remove the seat. Refer to => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] Power Front Memory Seats.

- Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Front Backrest ] Power Front Memory Seats.

- Remove cover and padding from seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Sport Seat ] Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Sport Seat.

- Cut section - A - from old heating element - 1 -.

- Remove cable - 2 -.

- Cut off cables - 4 - (quantity: 2) at - B - positions (quantity: 4).

Installing

- Align heating element - 1 - on seat surface, remove protective foil and glue heating element to cushion.

• With improper routing, wire connection may wear through and the seat depth adjustment may be "hooked" during adjustment.





- Insert cable - 2 - into designated opening - 3 -.

- Route connecting wires at locations - 4 - in bottom of gaps, avoiding crossover.

- Lay right and left wire connections into opening - arrow -.
