• When backrest is locked, pin projects 1-2 mm over latch trim.

• When backrest is unlocked, pin projects about 20 mm over latch trim and a red marking is visible.

5 Backrest Heating Connector

6 Left 1/3 Backrest

- Fold left 1/3 backrest and right 2/3 backrest down.

- Remove cover and clamp on center bracket - 1 -. Refer to => [ Center Bearing Cover and Clamp ] Center Bearing Cover and Clamp.

- Lift the backrest - 6 - in the direction of arrow - A - out of the center bracket - 1 - and remove it in the direction of arrow - B - from the fitting - 3 -.

- If you also remove grommet - 2 -, reinsert grommet.

- Vehicles with backrest heating: disconnect the connector for the backrest heating - 5 -.

• Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Be sure to note the following:

- Vehicles with backrest heating: pay attention to the installed position of the backrest heating connector. Refer to => [ Backrest heating connector installation position ].

- Make sure backrest locks. Refer to => [ (Item 4) Latch Trim ].
