Removing





- Push release button - 2 - in - direction of arrow A - and pull headrest - 1 - upward as far as possible - arrow B -, keep release button pushed while doing so.

- Press release button - 2 - on headrest - 1 - until stop - arrow -.





- Slide headrest down completely on rods, release button on headrest must be kept pressed while doing so.

- Remove headrest completely from headrest guides.

Headrest guide without release button:





- Remove the backrest cover: standard seat. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Standard Front Seats, power seat => [ Backrest Cover ] Power Front Memory Seats.

- Press catch - 2 - in - direction of arrow A - and press retaining claws in - direction of arrow B -.

- Pull headrest guide - 1 - upward out of mount.

• Headrest guide cannot be removed without destroying it.

Headrest guide with release button:





- Remove the backrest cover: standard seat. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Standard Front Seats, power seat => [ Backrest Cover ] Power Front Memory Seats.

- Release retainer tab - 2 - in - direction of arrow - and pull headrest guide - 1 - up and out of mount.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• The headrest guide can only be inserted in one position.

• Guide lug of headrest guide must engage in cut-out of mount for headrest guide.
