Refrigerant Line B

Removing





- Drain the refrigerant circuit.

- Remove the front bumper.

Remove the following components depending on the vehicle (e.g. for Audi RS6, not present in all versions).

- Remove the left headlight

- Remove the hydraulic oil container for the power steering.

- Remove the hydraulic unit for ABS.

Continuation of work for all vehicles:

- Open the screw connection in the refrigerant line (between - A - and - B -) => [ Restrictor ] Restrictor (remove and install restrictor).

- Disconnect refrigerant line - B - from the connector at the condenser => [ Refrigerant Lines, Disconnecting from Condenser and Connecting ] Refrigerant Lines, Disconnecting from Condenser and Connecting.

- Remove refrigerant line - B -.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

- Coat O-ring seals lightly with refrigerant oil before installing => [ Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals ] Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals.

- Following attachment, check routing of refrigerant pipes. They must be inserted in holders provided and not make contact with other components.

- Refill any fluids that were drained and bleed the respective vehicle systems.

- Evacuate and refrigerant circuit after assembly and refill.

- Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module (J255) A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if necessary.

- Operate the A/C system after filling the refrigerant circuit => [ A/C System, Operating after Filling Refrigerant Circuit ] A/C System, Operating after Filling Refrigerant Circuit
