Front speaker rattling or sound distortion.

Technical Background

The speaker cable may touch the speaker grill.

Production Solution

Change in cable layout.

Service





Rework and secure the layout of door speaker wiring harness (Figure 1).

Replacing the speaker is not necessary.

Any dents in the speaker beading will come out by themselves and will not affect sound quality.

When procedure applies to vehicles under warranty, use the table.

All warranty claims submitted for payment must be in accordance with the Audi Warranty Policies and Procedures Manual. Claims are subject to review or audit by Audi Warranty.
