60 Sunroof reverses

Condition





When closing, the sunroof reverses (moves in the opposite direction).

Technical Background

A component fault on the printed circuit of the sunroof drive leads to the reversing. Only one supplier is affected.

Production Solution

The faulty batch of printed circuits has been sorted out. Only checked sunroof drives are fitted.

Service

Figure 1:

1. Replace the faulty sunroof drive according to the Repair Manual.

Tip: Faulty parts can be identified by the green imprint on the plug housing.

Affected, faulty parts were produced in weeks 22/06, 23/06 and 24/06. Check the production date on the housing of the sunroof drive.

Sunroof drives with a white imprint are from another circuit board manufacturer and are not affected.

2. After fitting the new sunroof drive, perform a programming run.
