Satellite Radio, through MY 05

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Fiber optic plier repair set (VAS 6223)

• Protective cap for cable connector (VAS 6223/9)

• Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051)

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine using the (VAS 5051)

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

- Disconnect electrical connections - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - on satellite radio (R146) - 4 -.





- Attach the (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - onto the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





- Remove the nuts - arrows - (4 Nm) on satellite radio - 4 -.





- Remove satellite radio - 4 - from retaining plate.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.
