Instrument Panel Lamps and Switches

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Light Switch

Removing





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Turn light switch into "0" position.

- Press light switch - arrow 1 - and turn toward the right simultaneously - arrow 2 -.

- Hold the switch in this position and pull the light switch out of the instrument panel - arrow 3 -.





- Unplug connector.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press button unit into switch housing until lock mechanism engages.
