• 1 With a magnesium intake manifold

• 2 With a plastic intake manifold

Intake Manifold Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification, with a Magnesium Intake Manifold





- Tighten the intake manifold bolts - 1 through 10 - in sequence in 2 passes:

• First pass, tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.

• Final pass, tighten the bolts to 9 Nm + 90° additional turn.

Upper Intake Manifold Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification, with a Plastic Intake Manifold





- Tighten the upper intake manifold bolts - 1 through 16 - in sequence in 2 passes:

• First pass, tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.

• Final pass, tighten the bolts to 11 Nm.

Lower Intake Manifold Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification, with a Plastic Intake Manifold





- Tighten the bolts - arrows - for the lower intake manifold diagonally and in steps to 10 Nm.
