Cargo Mode
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Diagnostic operation system (VAS 5051A)
• Diagnostic cable (VAS 5051/5A)
The cargo mode can only be activated and deactivated using the (VAS 5051A).
If the cargo mode was activated, it is not possible to activate a different level using Multi Media Interface (MMI).

Activating
- Switch on the ignition.
- On Board Diagnostic (OBD) function.
- Address word "34" (level control system).
- "Function 16 Access authorization".
- Enter "code 10273" using the keypad and confirm with the Q button.
The yellow malfunction light in the instrument cluster illuminates and the malfunction "00219 cargo level active" is entered in the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory.
Deactivating
- Switch on the ignition.
- OBD function.
- Address word "34" (level control system).
- "Function 16 Access authorization".
- Enter "code 41172" using the keypad and confirm with the Q button.
The yellow malfunction indicator lamp in the instrument cluster switches off and the malfunction "00219 cargo level active" is automatically erased from the DTC memory.
