Halogen Headlamps

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment.

Headlamp Bracket

• Broken headlamp mounts (e.g. due to a collision impact) can be replaced separately. Complete replacement of entire headlamp may be avoided in many cases.

Procedure





- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- To replace lower headlamp mounts, remove bolts - 1 through 3 -.

- Position adjusting nut - 4 - from rear on mount at lock carrier.

- To replace upper headlamp mounts - 1 -, remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 - and unclip mount from headlamp housing.
