Front Camber, Centering
Camber cannot be adjusted.
Camber can be centered evenly within the specified tolerance range by shifting the subframe.
- Loosen the quick release fasteners - 1 and 2 - and remove the noise insulation.
- Loosen the bolts - 1 and 2 -.
- Loosen the left and right front transmission mount/support nuts.
- Slide the subframe to a suitable position using a plastic coated tire iron - arrow -.
Press in the center of the subframe between the subframe and body longitudinal member.
If you do not have a plastic coated tire iron, wrap a standard tire iron in adhesive tape.
CAUTION!
Do not damage any parts!
Specified values for wheel alignment. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment Specifications ] [1][2]Alignment.
- Install new bolts - 1 and 2 - and tighten. refer to - items 8 and 19 - in => [ Subframe, Engine Carrier and Stabilizer Bar Assembly Overview ] Subframe, Engine Carrier and Stabilizer Bar Assembly Overview.
- Tighten the left and right front transmission mount/support nut.
CAUTION!
Every time the camber is corrected, the axle alignment values should be checked.
- Install the front noise insulation.
