Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Usage

Switching the System On and Off:

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is operated in the Multi Media Interface (MMI).

- Switch the ignition on.

- Press the "CAR" function button.

- In the "CAR menu", select "Systems".

- Select the "Tire pressure monitoring system".

- Select system to switch the tire pressure monitoring system on or off or to switch the system off.

• Depending on the software used, the system cannot be switched off in all vehicles.

Function:

The TPMS is operated in the MMI.

The system monitors the tire pressure you have set and entered for monitoring.

- Check, correct and save the tire pressures first.

- Then check and correct the tire pressure for the tires on the vehicle (including spare tire) according to the specifications on the decal on the fuel filler door.

Storing Tire Pressures:

The specified pressures must be saved correctly to ensure the tire pressure monitoring system functions correctly. After this, system will automatically perform teach-in process.

Proceed as follows:

- Switch ignition on.

- Press the "CAR" function button.

- In the "CAR menu", select "Systems".

- Select the "Tire pressure monitoring system".

- Select "Save tire pressures".

Saving of tire pressures must be started after every change desired to the specified values and after every tire change.
