Selector Mechanism Emergency Release from P Position

• When the battery is disconnected or has been discharged, the selector lever cannot be shifted out of the "P" position.

• By operating the manual release the Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) will release the selector lever when there is no power supply.

- Remove front ashtray insert - 1 - by pressing knob - arrow -.





- Remove bolt - arrow - and front ashtray housing.





• If the manual release rocker switch has a cover, pry it off using, e.g. a screwdriver.

- Press on manual release rocker switch - A -, e.g. with a screwdriver, and at the same time, remove selector lever from "P" position - arrow -.





- Install front ashtray.
