Satellite Radio, from MY 2006

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Fiber Optic Plier Repair Set (VAS 6223)

• Protective Cap For Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9)

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

CAUTION!
• Switch off all electrical components.

• Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

- Open the left flap of luggage compartment.

- Disconnect electrical connections - 1 -, - 2 - and - 3 - on Satellite Radio (R146) - 5 -.





- Disconnect electrical connection to MOST-Bus - 4 -.

- Fit the Protective Cap For Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - on to the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





- Unscrew bolts - arrows - (3 Nm) on Satellite Radio (R146) - 5 -.





- Remove Digital Radio (DAB) (R147) - 5 - from retaining plate.
