Memory Positioning Module: Service and Repair

Emergency Off Button E190 / E466 For Memory Seat Control Unit, Removing And Installing







Removing

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove front door trim.
- Detach insulating mat from door trim.
- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove speaker trim.







- Disconnect connector - 1 -.
- Remove bolts - arrows - and detach storage compartment from door trim.







- Use Allen wrench to remove pin - 1 - for actuating storage compartment catch and pin - 2 - for stop.
- Repeat procedure on other side of storage compartment.
- Open storage compartment.







- Remove switch cover panel - 1 - - arrows -.







- Lift rear of switch cover panel - arrow 1 - and detach towards inside of storage compartment - arrow 2 -.
- Disconnect connector.







- Release left and right retaining hooks and press emergency off button back out of switch mount in storage compartment - arrow -.
- Disconnect connector - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Press emergency off button into switch mount until fasteners engage.
- Install front door trim.
