Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (5-60 Nm) (VAG 1783)

Removing

- Remove the rear bench seat cushion.

- Release and remove the electrical connector - 1 -.





- Remove the nuts - 2 - and the tire pressure monitoring control module (J502) - 3 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

- Tighten the nuts - 2 - to 1.5 Nm.
