Fuel Tank with Attachments Assembly Overview
1 Securing strap
• With spacer, installed location, refer to => [ Installed Location of Spacer ]

3 Fuel line
• From fuel filter
• To engine
• To disconnect, press release button on connection piece
4 Fuel return line
• From engine
• To disconnect, press release button on connection piece
• Clipped in on fuel tank
5 Vent line
6 Ground (GND) connection
• For discharging electrostatic charge
• Installed position / check requirements, refer to => [ Installation Position of Ground (GND) Connection ]
• Make sure the connector is securely seated.
• After installing, check electrical connection of fuel filler tube to a bare area of chassis using Ohm meter - Specified value: approximately 0ohms
7 Cap
• With Fuel Tank Lock Switch (F314) solenoid, refer to => [ Locking Cover with Solenoid ]
8 Seal
• Replace if damaged
9 22 Nm
10 Electrical harness connector
• For Fuel Tank Lock Switch (F314).
11 Vent line
• To the EVAP canister in the spare wheel well on vehicle floor
• Remains on fuel tank when fuel tank is removed

Installed Location of Spacer
- Make sure that the spacer of the securing straps is seated directly below the seam of the fuel tank - arrow -.
Installation Position of Ground (GND) Connection
- Route Ground (GND) connection as shown in figure.
- Ensure connector of Ground (GND) connection fits securely at metal ring of fuel filler tube - arrow -.
CAUTION!
After installing, check electrical connection of metal ring at fuel filler tube to a blank portion of chassis using Ohm meter:
• Specified value: approximately 0 ohms.
Fuel Tank Lock Switch (F314)
- Ensure electrical connector - 2 - for Fuel Tank Lock Switch (F314) - 1 - is seated properly on fuel filler neck.

In-Tank Wire Routing Assembly Overview
• The illustration shows the ideal routing of the lines on the inside of the fuel tank.
• With exception of the line position. Refer to => [ Installed Location of Fuel Delivery Lines ] , exact routing of the lines is not required, although you must be generally aware of clearance between components and of preventing rattling noises.
• - Arrow - points in direction of travel.

• Serves to supply a small amount of fuel directly to the delivery unit during first-time filling

Installed Location of Fuel Delivery Lines
• The delivery lines - 1 - and - 3 - must be routed under the fuel filler line - 2 - in the area of the left fuel tank opening.
