Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Fiber Optic Plier Repair Set (VAS 6223)

• Protective Cap For Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9)

CAUTION!
• Switch off all electrical components.

• Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

Removing

- Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

- Disconnect electrical connections - 4 - on Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 2 -.





- Fit the Protective Cap For Cable Connector (VAS 6223/9) - 1 - on to the MOST-Bus connector - 2 -.





- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 - (3 Nm) at Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 2 -.





- Remove Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 2 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 4 - (3 Nm) at Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 2 -.





- Remove Digital Sound System Control Module (J525) - 2 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.
