Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hook and support tool (3311) with bolt (3311/1)

• Shop Crane (VAS 6100) or (V.A.G 1202 A)

Work procedure





CAUTION!
• If transmission is not set down correctly, components can be damaged.

• The transmission must not be set down on ATF cooler - B - or transmission oil pan.

• Transmission removed

CAUTION!
• Exchange the bolt on the Hook and Support Tool (3311) for a new, longer bolt (3311/1).

• The new bolt (3311/1) is longer. Only this way is the transmission fastened securely.

- Secure transmission on Hook and Support Tool (3311) (use new, longer bolt (3311/1)).





- The transmission can be raised and supported with help of shop crane.

• Ignore Holding Plate (VW 309)
