1 Rear Lid

• Removing

• When reinstalling lid (for example, when changing seal), perform lid removal by disconnecting hinge, refer to => [ Lid Hinge, Disconnecting ] Lid Hinge.

• Then hood does not have to be readjusted.

• Remove the rear lid trim panel..

• Disconnect or pull off electrical harness connectors and hose for rear window washer system.

• Remove gas-filled struts from rear lid.

• Second person is required to support and lift hood.

• Remove screws on hood-side hinge and remove hood.

• Installation takes place in reverse order, hood must be readjusted.

2 Lid Grip Piece

• Removal, refer to => [ Lid Grip ] Lid Grip.

3 Stop

4 Combination Screw

• 8 Nm

5 Gas Strut

• Noise insulation component must be installed on the body side.

6 Adjusting Buffer

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Adjusting Screw For Adjusting Buffer ] Adjustments.

7 Combination Screw

• 8 Nm

8 Seal

• To remove rear lid, remove lid hinge.

9 Fixed Striker Pin

10 Striker Pin With Closing Aid

11 Hex Nut

• 20 Nm
