Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Remove headrests.

Manual seat: vehicles without a rear seat entertainment screen, refer to => [ Headrests with Locking Mechanism ] Headrests With Locking Mechanism, vehicles with a rear seat entertainment screen, refer to => [ Headrests with a Rear Seat Entertainment Screen ] Headrests With a Rear Seat Entertainment Screen.

Memory seat, power seat and Comfort seat: vehicles without rear seat entertainment screen, refer to => [ Headrests with Locking Mechanism ] Headrests With Locking Mechanism, vehicles with rear seat entertainment screen, refer to => [ Headrests with a Rear Seat Entertainment Screen ] Headrests With a Rear Seat Entertainment Screen.

- Disengage sill panel strips - 2 - from guide channel - 1 - by prying with (3409).

- Use (3409) to lift cover over knob trim plate - 3 -.






- Remove the headrest mount - 1 - from the cushion and cover - 2 -. Begin on side opposite to knob - 3 -.

- Remove padding from cover.

Installing






- Insert cushion - 1 - into cover - 2 - and make sure it fits properly.

- Insert headrest mount - 1 - in upholstery with cover - 2 -. Begin on side with knob - 3 -.






- Press fastening strips firmly into guide channel (check by pulling).
