Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor (V211)

• With the Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor Position Sensor (G328)

Removing

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove right front seat (front passenger's seat) completely with lower seat frame..

- Carefully fold rear floor carpet in area of center console aside..

- Remove bolts - A -.






- Disconnect electrical connection from Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor - B - and remove control motor - C - with cover - D -.

- Disengage connecting rod - E - from control motor lever - F -.

Installing

- Check that connecting rod - E - is installed on proper side.

- Install the removed components again in reverse order.

- Check DTC memory of Climatronic Control Module (J255) (and of Rear A/C Display Control Head (E265) ) and erase any DTCs displayed using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

- If necessary, perform a basic setting and output diagnostic test mode on the A/C system using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
