Side Turn Signals, Through MY 09

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry Lever (80 - 200)

• Protective gloves

Removing






Wear protective gloves.

• To protect the paint in the area around the mirror housing, tape it off with a soft cloth.

- Press mirror glass - 1 - out of mirror adjusting unit - arrow - using (80 - 200).

- Disconnect electrical connectors - 1 to 3 - on back side of mirror.






- Remove the screws - 1, 2 and 4 -.






- Pull housing - 3 - slightly away from cover - 6 - - arrow A - until retaining tabs - 5 - on cover are visible.

- Remove housing upward - arrow B -.

- Disconnect the connector from the side turn signal and the connector from the lane change assistance warning lamp inside the exterior mirror (if equipped).

- Remove screws - 1, 2, 3, 5 -.






- Remove the side turn signal housing - 6 - from the exterior mirror housing - 4 - - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Entire side turn signal in exterior mirror must be replaced if LED is faulty.

- Attach mirror glass at mirror adjusting unit and press on mirror glass.

• Only press on the center of the mirror.
