CONDITION

^ Unjustified, sporadic fault code entry in the Front Information Display Control Head Control Module J523 (Address word 07): DTC 02849 (control unit for lane-changing assistant - no signal/communication).

^ The operation of the lane-changing assistant (Audi Side Assist) is not affected. The customer has no complaint about any unexpected behavior or any warning concerning the Audi Side Assist system.

Not applicable.

SERVICE

Delete the sporadic fault code entry 02849 in Front Information Display Control Head Control Module.
