REVISION HISTORY
One of the following DTCs may be stored in the self leveling suspension module:
^ DTC 00142 (valve for shock absorber adjustment front left, electrical fault in electric circuit).
^ DTC 00143 (valve for shock absorber adjustment front right, electrical fault in electric circuit).
^ DTC 00144 (valve for shock absorber adjustment rear left, electrical fault in electric circuit).
^ DTC 00145 (valve for shock absorber adjustment rear right, electrical fault in electric circuit).
The DTC does not affect the operation of the shock absorbers.
Technical Background
Due to manufacturing quality differences in the control unit for the self leveling suspension system, one of the DTCs listed above may be stored.
Production Solution
Service
1. Perform the necessary Guided Fault Finding test plan for the stored DTC.
2. Check the wiring and connectors for loose connections, contact corrosion, slipped or bent pins and electric resistance of the vehicle wiring.
Current feed valve to shock absorber valves: 650mA-2000mA
Resistance valve for shock absorber valves:
^ 1.66 Ohm +/- 6% at -30°C/ -22°F
^ 2.20 Ohm +/- 6% at 20°C/ 68°F
^ 3.61 Ohm +/- 6% at 110°C/ 230°F
3. The control unit for the self leveling suspension system should be replaced only if all values are OK according to Guided Fault Finding.
