The telephone system include the Bluetooth hands-free calling inside the Information Electronics Control Module 1 (J794).

The Information Electronics Control Module 1 is installed with the Microphone Unit In Front Roof Module (R164) and is part of the hands-free setup. Bluetooth connects the Cellular Telephone (R54).

Notes On Bluetooth Technology

Bluetooth technology is a standardized radio wave data transmission system.

An additional transmitter/receiver unit is installed in the information electronics control module 1. A separate Bluetooth Antenna (R152) connects the information electronics control module 1 and cellular telephone so that all cellular telephones can be used cordless via Bluetooth technology.

The range of the radio wave connection is approximately 10 meters.
