Removing






- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] Glove Compartment.

- Remove the base mount and the fuse panel on the right side of the instrument panel.

- Remove screw - 3 - at right of passenger side knee bar brace.

Vehicles with Front Information Display Control Head Control Module (J523) on Instrument Panel Central Tube:






- Remove Front Information Display Control Head Control Module (J523).

- Remove screws - arrows - and remove Front Information Display Control Head Control Module (J523) bracket from instrument panel central tube.

All:






• Climatronic Control Module (J255) must be removed to gain better access.

- Remove Climatronic Control Module (J255).

- Remove screw - 1 - at left of passenger side knee bar brace.

- Remove passenger side knee bar brace - 2 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
