Headlamps

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment, refer to => [ Headlamps, Adjusting ] Headlamps, Adjusting.

Danger to life due to high voltage.

Removing






- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (ND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

- Release retaining clip - 2 - in - direction of arrow -.

- Press retaining clip - 3 - down, and at the same time, remove headlamp housing - 4 - from mount.

Installing






- Make sure the guides on the headlamp housing engage into the guides on the mount - arrows - when installing the headlamp - 1 - into the mount - 2 -.

• The headlamp must slide into the mount gently without using force.

- Slide headlamp into mount until it engages audibly.

- Secure headlamp with retaining clip.

- Connect battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Adjust headlamps after installing, refer to => [ Headlamps, Adjusting ] Headlamps, Adjusting.
