Contact corrosion
Contact corrosion can occur when inappropriate fastening elements (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.) are used.

For this reason, only fastening elements with a special surface coating (Dachromet) are installed. These elements can be recognized by their green color.

In addition, rubber and plastic parts and adhesive are of non-conducting materials.

If there are doubts to whether parts should be re-installed, install new parts.

Please note:
Only use genuine Audi replacement parts. They have been checked and are compatible with aluminum.

Accessories must be approved by Audi AG!

Damage due to contact corrosion is not covered under warranty!
