Affected Vehicles
CONDITION
^ An Adaptive Light message intermittently appears in the IP cluster center display.
^ The following entries may be permanently or sporadically stored in the 55 - Dynamic Headlight Range Control:
^ DTC 02628 (Sensor for right swivel module position, implausible signal).
^ DTC 02629 (Sensor for left swivel module position, implausible signal).

SERVICE
1. Check for tight fit of the 10-way plug (Figure 1, Point 1) in the headlights by pulling gently.
2 If the connection is loose, check the plugs for bent, widened or pressed-back pins. Fix any damage.
3. Firmly slot the plug in the connector. Ensure there is no tension from the wiring harness (Figure 2, Point 2) on the 10-way plug.
4. If necessary, retighten the wiring harness to relieve tension on the plug.
