General Information

CAUTION:
- Disconnect battery ground wire before working on electrical system.
- On vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 service mode before disconnecting Battery A.

If the Battery A is reconnected, follow the procedure for disconnecting and connecting the Battery A. Deactivate Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526 service mode.

Cellular telephone preparation
- Telephone Transceiver R36
- Radio, Telephone, Navigation System Antenna R52
- Telephone Base plate R126 with Cellular Telephone R54
- Telephone Microphone R38

The Telephone Transceiver R36 is equipped with a Bluetooth Antenna R152 . Using this, all Cellular Telephones R54 approved by Audi can be operated with the Bluetooth interface with the cell phone preparation installed in the vehicle.

It is not possible to connect other devices via Bluetooth, for example headset, laptop, PDA, or similar.

Diagnosis is performed using "Guided Fault-Finding" .
