HID Headlamps

CAUTION!
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

• Obtain the anti-theft radio security code.

• Switch the ignition off.

• Disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

• After reconnecting vehicle battery, re-code and check operation of anti-theft radio. Also check operation of clock and power windows according to Repair Information and/or Owner's Manual.

• Steps after reconnecting voltage supply => Battery.

CAUTION!

Make sure to disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap before performing work on parts of High intensity gas discharge (xenon) headlamps marked with yellow high voltage symbols.

Make sure to disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap before performing work on parts of High intensity gas discharge (xenon) headlamps marked with yellow high voltage symbols.

Removing

- Remove headlamp => [ HID Headlamps ].

- Remove bolts - arrows - and retaining bracket - 2 -.





- Remove igniter - 1 - for high intensity gas discharge (Xenon) from headlamp housing and disconnect electrical harness connectors.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

- Check seal between igniter for gas discharge lamp and headlamp housing.

- Install headlamp => [ HID Headlamps ].
