RNS Low Navigation System

CAUTION!
Disconnect battery ground wire before working on electrical system.

On vehicles with Telematics, activate Telephone/Telematics Control Module service mode before disconnecting Battery (A). Refer to => [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

If the battery is reconnected, follow the procedure for disconnecting and connecting the battery. Deactivate Telephone/Telematics Control Module ( J526) service mode. Refer to => [ Telematics Service Mode, Activating/Deactivating ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics.

RNS low is the "Low" variant of the RNS-E.

In addition to the navigation system, the RNS low includes a Radio (R)/CD Player (R89) and connections for CD Changer (R41) and cellular telephone. The CD drive can play music CDs.

The function selection switch is integrated in the unit (MMI operation).
