Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

Rear Lid Lock Cylinder, Avant

Removing

- Remove rear lid trim.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 -.





- Disengage actuating link - 3 - to rear lid lock.

- Remove bolt - 1 -.

- Tightening torque: 8 Nm

- Turn lock cylinder 90° around its own shaft and remove lock cylinder.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
