B-pillar Trim Panel






1 - Cover

• To remove, pull downward

2 - Grommet

3 - Bolt

• 1.5 Nm

4 - B-pillar trim

Removal:

• Unclip cover - 1 -.

• Remove bolts - 2 - pull trim panel off outward.

Installing:

• With rear door opened, guide trim panel into retaining bracket.

• With rear door closed, position at top and bottom according to magnified area in illustration.

• Screw in front bolt - 3 -.

• Outer lip of rear door window seal must make contact cleanly over entire range of trim panel.

• Excessive pressure on seal at trim panel must be prevented, otherwise the projecting lip may cause wind noise.

• With door opened, screw in rear bolt - 3 -.

• Press grommet - 2 - into trim panel.

• Slide cover - 1 - on from below.

5 - Combination screw

• 5 Nm

6 - Retaining bracket

7 - Clip
