Seat with Faulty Forward/Back Adjustment Motor

• If possible: Tilt seat up.

• To remove the driver's seat: Move steering wheel all the way forward and up.





1 - Front seat

• Removing

- Remove panel - 12 -.

- Remove bolts - 13 - (Qty. 4).

- Fold seat - 1 - toward front.

- Remove bolts - 14 - (Qty. 2).

- Remove screw - 6 -.

- Unclip harness connector - 5 - from retaining plate - 4 -.

- Unclip harness connector - 11 - from retaining plate - 4 -.

- Disengage cable harness - 9 - at clips - 10 - and - 7 -.

- Disconnect the connector - 8 - on the seat forward/back adjustment motor.

- With a second technician, remove backrest with seat pan from vehicle.

• Installing

CAUTION!
Ensure function of the safety Ground (GND) lock => [ Safety Ground Lock ].

- Install front seat - 1 - in reverse order of removal.

3 - Screws, (Qty. 2)

• Tightening torque: 20 Nm.

4 - Seat forward/back adjustment motor retaining plate

5 - Connector

6 - Screw

7 - Clip

8 - Seat forward/back adjustment motor connector

9 - Cable harness

10 - Clip

11 - Connector

12 - Trim

13 - Screws (Qty. 4)

• Tightening torque: 20 Nm

14 - Screws, (Qty. 2)

• Tightening torque: 19 Nm
