Selector Mechanism Emergency Release from P

• It is not possible to move the selector lever out of P if the battery is disconnected or if it is discharged.

• The shift lock solenoid (N110) will cancel out the lock when the emergency release is activated.

- Remove front ashtray insert - 1 - by pressing knob - arrow -.





- Remove the bolt - arrow - and the front ashtray housing.





• If the manual release rocker switch has a cover, pry it off using, for example a screwdriver.

- Press the manual release rocker switch - A -, for example, with a screwdriver and at the same time, remove the selector lever from position P - arrow -.





- Install the front ashtray.
