Sill Side Trim

• The sill side trim panel can only be removed and installed with the seat installed.

• Removal and installation is the same on the driver and passenger seat.

Removing






Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

- Bring seat as far up as possible.

- Remove the backrest cover - 1 - on the trim - 2 -- arrow -.

- Remove expanding clip - 3 -, press clamping pin through to the inside.





- Open the clips - 1 -- arrow A -.

- Pull the trim - 2 - as far up from the retaining bracket - arrows B -, as the electrical wires allow.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 3 - on the lumbar support adjustment switch - 2 -.





- Disconnect the electrical connectors - 4 - and - 5 - from the seat fore/aft, inclination, height and backrest adjustment switch housing - 1 -.

- Remove the sill side trim.

Installation


Follow the safety precautions for pyrotechnic components.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Make sure the sill side trim is engaged correctly on retaining bracket and lock clips are closed.

• Ensure that electrical connections are pushed in as far as stop and engage with a click.
