Fuel Level Sensor (G)

Removing

Observe safety precautions, refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

Observe rules for cleanliness, refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

- Install the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.

- Release the retaining tabs - arrows - using a screwdriver and remove the fuel level sensor upward and out.






Before removing electrical connectors on fuel level sensor, first release contact retaining tabs.

- Disengage the electrical connector retaining tabs - 1 to 3 - and disconnect them.





Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Insert the fuel level sensor in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push upward until it engages.

- Connect the electrical connections and check that they are securely engaged.

- Install fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] Fuel Delivery Unit. Follow the instructions for connecting the battery.
