Windshield Washer Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip tray

Removing






- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the front section of the front right wheel housing liner.

- Remove fog lamp. Refer to => [ Fog Lamp, through 05.2008 ] Fog Lamp, Through 05.2008.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 4 -.

- Place a drip tray under the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

- Release the securing clip - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - and remove the washer fluid line - 1 - from the windshield washer fluid pump.

- Remove the windshield washer pump (V5) - item 3 - upward out of the washer fluid reservoir.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Check the sealing grommet - 1 - for damage.

- From above, push the windshield washer pump (V5) - item 2 - into the windshield washer fluid reservoir; while doing this the washer fluid pump is guided by both mounting tabs - arrows -.

- Install fog lamp. Refer to => [ Fog Lamp, through 05.2008 ] Fog Lamp, Through 05.2008.

- Install the front section of the front right wheel housing liner.
