Roof Module, Interior Overview







1 - Roof module
2 - Combination bolts
- 3.5 Nm

3 - Cable guides

Removing:
- Molded headliner removed.
- Sunroof motor removed.
- Wind deflector removed.
- Sunroof panel removed
- Remove bolts - 2 - and - 6 - and remove complete cable guide downward.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

4 - Sliding roof motor
- Removing and installing

5 - Combination bolts
- 3.5 Nm

6 - Combination bolts
- 3.5 Nm

Sun Shade, Removing and Installing







1 - Guide
- Inserted sideways on sun shade.

2 - Sun shade with automatic retractor

CAUTION: Sun shade is pre-tensioned by a spring and must be secured against unwinding before removing.

- To remove, slide roller to the side - in direction of arrow -.
- Secure axle from unwinding using a piece of wire and lift out sun shade on one side.
- Remove sun shade out of guides with sliders set off to the sides.

NOTE: For the front sun shade, roller must be slid in opposite direction of arrow.







Anti-Twist Element for Sun Shade

CAUTION: Sun shade is pre-tensioned by a spring and must be secured against unwinding before removing.

- Bring hole, located in axle and in shaft, into alignment by sliding sideways.
- Lock axle and shaft - 3 - using a thin piece of wire - 4 - and secure it so that sun shade does not unwind.
- Now sun shade can be removed from roof module.
- If glide pieces - 1 - remain in guides, they must be removed and reinserted again before installing sun shade - 2 -.

Cross Member for Sunroof







1 - Cross member for sunroof
- Molded headliner removed.
- To remove, remove hex bolts - 2 -.
- Connecting parts at left - 3 - and right - 5 - remain in the vehicle.

2 - Hex bolts
- 7 Nm

3 - Left connecting part
4 - Hex bolt
- 3.5 Nm

5 - Right connecting part
6 - Molded headliner
7 - Rear sun shade
- Removal

8 - Front sun shade
- Removal
