Self Dimming Interior Rearview Mirror, Setting

Setting LHD

It is necessary to adjust the steering side when:

• A new Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7) is being installed.

• The magnetic zone sensor has been moved from the mirror base to the mirror housing in the new Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7). The steering side "must" be set only on these mirrors.

• To recognize a new Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7) press the button - 2 - for longer than 12 seconds; an "L" or an "A" will appear in the display.





- Press the button - 2 - for 12 to 15 seconds until " L - LHD" appears.

- Press the button - 2 - again; the steering side will change.

- After a brief moment, the display will automatically change to " C - calibrating". The compass must now be calibrated. Refer to => [ Digital Compass, Calibrating ] Digital Compass, Calibrating.

- Make sure that after setting the steering side, the automatic dimming feature on the interior rearview mirror is re-activated. Refer to => [ Automatic Dimming Function ] Interior Rearview Mirror.
